Philadelphia, PA - It’s that time of the month again for Yappy Hour at Morris Animal Refuge. What’s Yappy Hour? A fun, informative BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog) event tomorrow, August 24 from 5-8 pm. Devil’s Den and Free Will Brewing Company are partnered with Morris Animal Refuge to provide complimentary cocktails, craft beer, and light bites. The theme of this particular Yappy Hour is a Bow Wow Luau.
For a $20 admission donation ($5 off for past MAR adopters), guests will get to sip on various summery beverages while touring the shelter and meeting adoptable animals. Devil’s Den will be whipping up a tasty Mai Tai and refreshing tropical sangria. Meanwhile, local favorites Free Will Brewing of Perkasie will have three selections available: their Kragle IPA, Community Kolsch, and Mango Wheat.
Four-legged attendees will have a few complimentary treats of their own. There are raffles and prizes available; this is a great opportunity for those looking to get involved in animal care - or, those thinking about adoption - to get introduced to Morris Animal Refuge and some of their current canine residents.
