next time you BBQ, think of added some veggies or fruits on the grill, they make a great side dish or a great idea for some simple and refreshing appetizers. We all know that grilled burgers and hotdogs are great BBQ fun, but what you may not know that your your backyard barbecue can be used for so much more than just meat? The grill provides a smoky twist some seasonal produce such as—zucchini, asparagus, and is even great for fruits such as watermelon, pineapple and peaches.

 

Take for instance eggplant when grilled it becomes crispy on the outside and very creamy inside. To began, slice your eggplant into one-inch thick pieces and coat them with extra-virgin olive oil. next cook on the rack for 6 minutes a side or until eggplant becomes tender.

Peaches or even Pineapple on the grill will deepen their already natural sweetness, and it’s really simple to do: simply slice in half or sections, removing the pits, and place them face-down on a grill that’s been pre-heated to high. When they become golden brown, after about 5 minutes or so. You can brush them lightly with honey, sprinkle cinnamon, or just top them off with some Greek yogurt.

Its simple to make you just preheat your grill to medium, place the tempeh on the grill for about 10 minutes, flip once or twice, or until it’s brown and cooked all the way through.
