Passyunk Ave, Philadelphia - Co-Owners and brothers Sean and Andrew Arsenault are opening Brewery ARS described as a "Rock & Roll Punk Rock American Craft Beer", on West Passyunk Avenue this year. The brothers, have announced that they will be opening the new brewery in an old double-wide garage located at 1927 West Passyunk Avenue, in South Philly. Plans are to transform the location into a 10 barrel, 1,600 square foot brewery and beer tasting room.

The brothers have reportedly successfully raised $30,000 through Kickstarter, a crow funding website. According to the Brewer's website they describe the brewery as:" A small family of artisan brewers, dedicated to hand crafting distinct, style-bending ales using only simple and pure means while restoring the rich brewing heritage of Philadelphia." The estimated grand opening date is set for this summer, depending on how fast they can get city permits.
