Philadelphia, PAPhiladelphia, PA - The Bourse Food Hall - The Bourse Food Hall is excited to announce its transformation into a German-style beer hall for one-day-only, taking place on Saturday, September 21, from 12 to 6 pm. Guests are invited to indulge in German-inspired food offerings from more than 20 vendors, including Schnitzel sandwiches, Bratwurst Platters, cheesesteaks topped with Sauerkraut and a Pop-Up Pretzel Bar. Moreover, The Bourse Beer Hall will cheers to Oktoberfest with an extensive German beer list, a keg tapping event, face painting, dance performances from German-Hungarian dancers and more.

 The Bourse Beer HallTaking place on the same day as Munich’s 186th Oktoberfest kicks-off, The Bourse Beer Hall’s programming does not have to hide in the shadows of the world’s biggest beer festival, offering 16 German import beer varietals, served in branded 12oz mugs and traditional 1 Liter take-home souvenir mugs.

“The Bourse Food Hall features elements of Munich’s Oktoberfest on a daily basis,” said Arthur Etchells, The Bourse Food Hall Manager. “At Oktoberfest, people come together to celebrate and to enjoy food and beers from different stands and vendors. We’re excited to transform The Bourse Food Hall into a beer hall for one day and to pay homage to Bavarian culture with a lot of fun specials and activities.”

Lederhosen and Dirndl-sporting Germany lovers can look forward to a “Keg TAPping” event at midnight led by TAPS Fill Station, traditional dance performances from the United German Hungarian Schuhplattlers with a set at 12:30 pm and again at 1:30 pm as well as local favorites, Polkadelphia, from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm. Guests can enjoy food and drink specials from a German Passport featuring the following participating vendors
