Tim Lu has transformed this 27,000 square foot venue which is taking the place of the former North Shore Beach Club. Monarch Philly is also serving dinner and brunch. Food can be ordered poolside, but enter the lavish dining room decorated with dark wood and chandeliers for after the sun sets for a full menu. Or check out the outdoor patio with swinging seats and large tables perfect for boozy brunch. Reservations are available for both brunch and dinner so don’t worry about waiting to dine with all your friends.
Whether its by the pool, on the patio, or in the dining room. Sip on something great like the Saint Monarch a delicious champagne cocktail with St. Germaine liquor. Of course there are Mimosas order by the glass or pitcher. Bloody Mary’s available by the glass or pitcher as well. And how could you not love a Tiki Drink right in the midst of summer? They’ve also got a refreshing Watermelon Cooler and Cucumber Mint Gimlet.
Looking for brunching with a larger party? Check out the patio for a unique outdoor dining space with lots of seating and sunshine. We couldn’t stop smiling at the colorful Fruit Loop French Toast. If you like something a bit more savory the Monarch Benedict is a play on Eggs Benedict made with bacon and Texas Toast. They’ve also got Huevos Rancheros.
We know you’ve been starving and working all winter for that summer beach body so why not reward yourself and indulge a bit?! The Loaded French Fries are great to share with friends and for a belly filled with beer. Topped with cheddar, bacon, and ranch these fries are incredible. Don’t skip the Mac N’ Cheese either, with the option to add bacon or pulled pork, this gooey cheesy dish was probably our favorite. They’ve also got Seitan Wings or Chicken Wings and Chicken Tenders that are a favorite when ordered poolside. The Chopped Salad is also served poolside as well as in the restaurant.
At brunch or dinner you can try the Chicken & Biscuit, a biscuit with fried chicken, bacon, sausage gravy, and topped with a fried egg. This is American comfort food for sure. The Old Fashioned Grilled Cheese also comes with a side of tomato soup if you’re in the mood. They’ve also got Shrimp and Grits and a big 12 oz. New York Strip Steak when you want something hearty.
