Chickie’s & Pete’s is Now Open in Marlton, NJ.

On April 6th, Chickie’s & Pete’s had their Grand Opening for their new restaurant in Evesham Township New Jersey, and I had to pleasure of attending one of the Family and Friends nights.  

"At over 10,000 square feet this will be one of our largest full-service restaurants," said Pete Ciarrocchi, founder and chairman of Chickie's & Pete's.  "It's our 5th full-service location in New Jersey and we also have four boardwalk locations in Ocean City and Wildwood. We are thrilled to give local residents their very own Chickie's & Pete's as we promised to do.”

When you walk into the new location, you are greeted by friendly staff, ready to direct you to a table. Or if you want to just have a drink while watching the game, you can grab a seat at one of two bars inside the restaurant.  The larger bar is located in the center of it all, and all the taps are on full display. Also on display are multiple television screens. You can sit with your friends while drinking a nice cold beer, and watch whatever game is playing no matter which direction you look towards.  The smaller bar is in the back area, where the site features a separate private dining room and a "Beer Hall" that opens to a patio and outdoor bar/dining area.  

I know that I was excited to see what they have been doing, as I drove by and watched all the renovations on my daily drive. And I was not the only one who wanted Chickie's & Pete's to come to my area. 

According to Pete Ciarrocchi, Chickie’s & Pete’s came to Marlton at the request of local residents.  During the renovation process, many Chickie's fans stopped by the site looking for updates on when the doors would open." On the day of the Grand Opening the Mayor of Evesham Township, Randy Brown, as well as other local dignitaries where on hand to cut the ribbon and officially open the restaurant.

With the anticipation over and the newest location officially open, you can enjoy all the delicious food on their menu; they’re know for their Crab Fries, but also a variety of seafood and craft beers.  

While I was there, I had a heaping basket full of the Chickie’s & Pete’s Famous Crab Fries with that gooey melted cheese to dip them into.  It’s definitely a guilty pleasure to sit down and enjoy those spiced fries dripping with cheese. I ordered a Blue Moon on tap. I’m a huge fan of Belgian White beers, and for me it’s a nice light beer to have while eating comfort food.

While I was still digging into the Crab Fries and melted cheese, I ordered Chickie’s Original Chicken Cutlets with Honey Mustard because of my desire for comfort food that day. I also ordered it because I love biting into a nice crispy layer of breaded chicken, with the juicy meat inside and dipping it into the Honey Mustard sauce. To compliment the Original Chicken Cutlets, I washed it down with one of their specialty cocktails, the Flyin’ Hawaiian. The drink was sweet and had Malibu Coconut Rum, Blue Curacao, Melon Liqueur, Pineapple juice, and sour mix; it tasted just as good as it looked.

I was happy that this fun and welcoming neighborhood restaurant is now closer to where I live.  The reason why is because, "At our restaurants, it's all about a positive, upbeat and fun customer experience and our employees are key to our success,” stated Pete Ciarrocchi.

Chickie's & Pete's started as a family-oriented neighborhood bar/restaurant and Pete Ciarrocchi brought that concept to a much larger scale over the years. The restaurant was named ESPN's #1 Sports Bar in North America among with many other honors.
