With no shortage options—including Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, the unquestionably trendy speakeasy .The Ripplewood is a throwback to a traditional American whiskey bar.

Regardless of whether you connect the name alongside that of the former Elkins Park bar or the name of a Grateful Dead song, this speakeasy exactly what proprietor Peter Martin had been after when he launched in April.

With an extensive and creative cocktail selection complemented by a beer & wine list.   The food menu offers tasty bar food, shareable appetizers, light soups & salads, completing the larger entrees with an innovative take on pub food. The restaurant's decor creates completely different vibes and energy throughout the numerous dining rooms and bars.

Ripplewood’s interior provides an old-time bar experience, together with Edison bulbs hung over the ceiling, unique flea-market finds on the interior walls and a couple of comfortable drawing-room sofas. In the back, you will find the “secret garden” dining spot, with its lavish murals, and a covered outside courtyard. Up the stairs, there is an additional cozy dining room.

Let begin with a few starters like the warm pretzeled Parker House rolls along with truffle spread, and Ripp french fries coated in a fontina-cheddar fondue, brisket plus jalapeños and don't forget the octopus drizzled with olive oil.



Some standout dishes include tempura-battered cod and braised short rib are outstanding, or a delicious double-stack burger, covered with gouda and capped with piquant Lebanon bologna. Additionally, the Tongue & Cheek Tacos—palm-sugar-and-coffee-rubbed beef cheek blended with beef tongue. The bar has a wide variety of craft beers like Old Rasputin Stout as well as Pabst Blue Ribbon. There is also a selection of wines, and craft drinks.
