Philadelphia, PA
- Loews Philadelphia Hotel is honoring the past and offering up, hand-crafted drinks featuring The Bellhop Bar by Loews Hotels, a retro steamer trunk jam-packed with unique cocktails kept in antique apothecary-style containers, all on display in the lobby of Loews Philadelphia Hotel starting at 5 pm to 7 pm daily. The Bellhop Bar campaign is open now all the way through mid-January 2019, and permits guests to select from localized, pre-batched libations as well as locally-produced wine, poured, mixed and served up upon demand.
The Bellhop Bar by Loews Hotels was created due to the success of the brand’s unique beverage concept, The Traveller Bar, which wrapped up its run this year, together with inspiration from “the golden age of the cocktail era.” The new promotional event continues on the past traveler theme, in which travelers would carry their possessions in wardrobe trunks for the extended journeys.
Modern-day travelers can and select from two pre-batched drinks making use of Angel’s Envy Bourbon or Hangar One Vodka. Also, a red and sparkling wine, The Count by Buena Vista Winery, the oldest winery inside the United States and Conundrum, one of the more respected sparkling wines on the marketplace, every night at 5:00 pm Loews Philadelphia will perform a fantastic opening bell rite to declare the bar in service.
“Being America’s first skyscraper, and the former home of the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society (PSFS) we are a building rich in history,” said Frederic Najem, Director of Food & Beverage at Loews Philadelphia Hotel. “The Bellhop Bar has its sense of nostalgia that our guests will love regarding design, but more importantly, its drinks.”
Also select from Bourbon Joe for a buzz of brew, manufactured by Flavor Philadelphia partner, La Colombe, steeped Angel’s Envy bourbon, Demerara syrup, dash bitters garnished with lemon peel, orange peel & cherry skewer. Alternatively, pay tribute to the hotel building, with the PEACH S.F.S., made of Hangar One Vodka, Pennsylvania Local Riesling, lemon, peach liqueur, and a Fresh Lemon peel garnish
