PHILADELPHIA, PA – As part of Sofitel Philadelphia's commitment to philanthropy they have formed a partnership with Broad Street Ministry where a portion of proceeds from the hotel’s banquet menu will go directly to supporting Broad Street Ministry programs.
Broad Street Ministry focuses on providing services to vulnerable people – men and women who are homeless, at risk of being homeless, or of low-income. They serve nutritious daily meals with restaurant-style hospitality, provide mail services, distribute personal care bags, mend clothes and provide new clothes, and offer therapeutic art classes in an inviting and safe atmosphere. By ordering items from the banquet menu designated with this symbol , $1 per person will go directly to Broad Street Ministry. Designated items range from breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets to beverages and snack breaks for groups of 10 or more people hosting a meeting or event at Sofitel Philadelphia. “Our Sofitel Ambassadors have been volunteering at Broad Street Ministry for many years,” explained Sofitel Philadelphia General Manager Angela Bauer. “In 2017 we have decided to increase our efforts and provide a financial contribution to this incredible organization.”
