Philadelphia, PAPhillyBite10 - A refreshing rum cocktail with a socially-conscious spin? Yes, please! National Rum Day (Aug. 16) is the perfect time to try Bonefish Grill’s new Coral Reef Punch, which was created to raise awareness for The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) initiative to Plant a Million Corals by 2025.

  • Bonefish Grill is encouraging everyone to help TNC by donating directly to the charity’s mission at www.nature.org/bonefishgrill. Starting August tomorrow, 14th, for every $1 donated Bonefish Grill will donate $5, up to $100,000. The new Coral Reef Punch is made with Bacardi Maestro Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, passion fruit & house-made vanilla bean simple syrup, fresh-squeezed orange & pineapple juices and finished with a dash of bitters and garnished with fresh pineapple.
  • Fishtown Brew Pub’s Smooth Landing – Made with Single Prop Rum, Grand Marnier, ginger/blood orange/maple shrub and topped with a house brewed IPA.
  • Veda Modern Indian Bistro’s Drunken Lassi – Sip on everyone’s favorite Indian delicacy, the Mango Lassi, but this time with an alcoholic-kick! Veda’s Drunken Lassi adds aged rum to our favorite blended beverage. 20180810_164946
