- Chipotle Mexican Grill unveiled the return of the Boorito, its yearly Halloween event. On Halloween Day, Oct. 31, starting at 3 p.m. till closing, all guests dressed in costume, can purchase a burrito, bowl, salad or tacos for just $4. Guests can also receive the exact deal thru the Chipotle app or on the web (pickup or delivery) by utilizing the code "BOORITO."
Chipotle Brings Boorito's Back for Halloween
"Boorito is a longstanding Chipotle tradition that's beloved by our fans," said Chris Brandt, chief marketing officer at Chipotle. "We love contributing to the Halloween spirit and seeing our customers show off their fun, creative costumes to celebrate Halloween and enjoy some of their favorite food."
Chipotle is going to also take the celebration to social media, with an Instagram costume competition also on Halloween Day. To enter, Chipotle followers must post a photograph of themselves in costume, at a Chipotle restaurant, on their own Instagram account or Instagram Story and tag @Chipotle. Chipotle will choose eight finalists as well as post the contestants' photos on their Instagram Story. Fans have the opportunity to vote for "Boorito Champion" by 'liking' their favorite costume from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time on Nov. 1. One lucky winner will delight in the sweetest treat of all – a year of totally free burritos. The winner is going to be revealed at approximately 6 p.m. Eastern time on Nov. 1 via Chipotle's Instagram account.
