Philadelphia, PA - Savona Restaurant located at 100 Old Gulph Rd, Gulph Mills, PA 19428, is commemorating its 21st anniversary with a special menu offered all through December. Chef/partner Andrew Masciangelo would like to say thank you to his guests for spending their birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions as well as everyday gatherings, by developing a menu of his classic dishes since 1997.
The first course options feature Shrimp and Scallop Purses together with light crustacean emulsion ($18); Pan Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras along with quail egg, homemade brioche, crispy maitake mushroom, and whole grain mustard ($22); and Blue Crab and Tarragon Salad with violet jicama and passion fruit vinaigrette ($19). Entries include Laurel Scented Day Boat Scallops with marjoram wilted leeks, fork mashed fingerling potatoes, tomato-fennel shellfish reduction ($38); Black Trumpet Dusted Venison Loin with roasted baby beets, salsify gratin ($40); and Pan Seared Dover Sole with lemon pine nut butter sauce ($55).
