Philadelphia, PAFeastival Cherry Street - Aerialist, and acrobats adorned the Cherry street pier last Thursday night to support the Fringe Arts Festival along with countless tastes and libations.

Featival Bill Zimmerman 2019 WhiskeyFringe Arts President and producing director Nick Stuccio Was impressed with the freshly revamped venue that displayed a beautiful platform of Elegance and decadence for this event.

The atmosphere was quite surreal as guests sampled some local flavors and sipped the latest cocktails all while gymnastic risk-takers would precariously swing from their toes only a few feet above them.

The tastes that evening were astounding. So let's dive right in with some of the ones I was privileged enough to try.

FOND. Let us start off with a shrimp ceviche that simply sparked in your mouth. Bright with a crisp bite of citrus and although it’s fall now, this tastes of summer.

Mike’s BBQ. Smoked Brisket on Texas Toast that was soooo tender and succulent it dissolves upon contact with your ever awaiting taste buds.

KAMPAR. A wonderful showing with a Beef Heart Rendang & Blue rice. Very lean and seasoned to excellence, while gaining its color from the majestic Butterfly pea. This was a dazzling dish.

BANK & BOURBON. Brought forth a Smoked Pork Belly with Tomato Jam & Pickled Cabbage. A truly nice presentation that was as savory as it was lush.

On the sweeter side. Who says no to chocolate? Not this guy.

ECLAT chocolate with it’s delicate and enthralling Peanut Butter Mondiant. A thin layer of filling enrobed with the most heavenly chocolate was an excellent way to start this tasting journey.

THE CONTINENTAL MID-TOWN. Handed us a deep, rich Pumpkin Custard that haunts the tongue with delight … That season is now upon us.

Now for the Libations across the Nation….. well.. across Philadelphia anyway.

THE TWISTED TAIL. Concocted a thriller with The Last Emperor. Comprised of Suntory Toki, Yuzu, Lychee, Orange Blossom, and Honey Syrup topped with a toasted lime. This drink will call to you and place you at ease over your kingdom.

FRINGE ARTS BAR & LOUNGE. Poured out a Charming Snake sweet and tart at the same time is quite an undertaking, but mission accomplished with this almighty creation.

Fringe Arts Is for the other side of your imagination you have yet to travel. Featuring wild new contemporary visions on the arts, it is worth the journey to see what your mind didn’t know was missing.
