Chicken ScratchPhiladelphia, PA - The pandemic brought us the emergence of the ghost kitchen, which has taken the nation by storm. Giving diners across the country can enjoy chef-driven cuisine from home without ever having to enter a restaurant.

STARR Restaurants took on the role as an early adopter of this trend with the opening of Pete’s Place – STARR’s “kinda Korean” noodle shop operating out of Serpico.

The restaurant group has now announced the launch of a second virtual restaurant concept, Chicken Scratch.

Will offer a rotisserie chicken-centric menu developed by Chef Peter Serpico invites diners to choose between a quarter, half, or a whole chicken served with “stoplight” red, yellow and green sauces.

Also available will be a few sides such as Mom’s Mac and Cheese, Fried Plantains, Banquet Rolls with whipped butter, and more. Orders can also be upgraded to a family combo that feeds up to four.

Chicken Scratch will be available to diners for Takeout from Serpico (604 South Street), and delivery via Doordash, Caviar, Grubhub, and Uber Eats starting Monday, 1/18 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
