Philadelphia, PA - The Cumin Bowl, Philadelphia’s newest virtual restaurant, delivers authentic Indian meals right to doorsteps around the city.
The Cumin Bowl Debuts In Philly This Week
With its first-ever Philly location at 4164 N. Franklin Street, the approachable menu concept offers customizable, nutritious bowls that have already been a hit in major markets like Chicago and Atlanta. The healthy menu format is simple: pick your protein, pick your curry, and finally, pick your base.
The menu features $10 bowls that can be customized by choosing a protein, such as lentils, chicken, vegan meat, and paneer, accompanied by a curry and choice of roti or rice. All bowls are served with a side of greens. Plant-forward and vegan-friendly options are available.
Customers can also choose from a variety of chef-curated “All Day Eats” from multiple regions of India, like pav bhaji (a popular Mumbai Street food made with potato, tomato, onion, peas, and tropical spices) and poha (flattened rice cooked with onion, spices, peanuts, and chickpeas, served with creamy coconut chutney).
The menu’s dessert selection boasts better-for-you, plant-based creations, such as moong dal sheera, a high-protein sweet custard made with lentils, almonds, cashew, nutmeg, and cinnamon, and Gajar ka Halwa, caramelized carrots infused with cardamom & almonds.
Available for delivery only (for now), customers can order from all major delivery platforms, including UberEats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.
