Philadelphia, PAPhillyBite Hatch and Coop - Hatch & Coop, is a chicken and egg joint, in Midtown Village according to founder and owner Gary Dorfman. Located in the former shopfront of now closed Jake's Sandwich Board, with the same owners, space has been overhauled as a fast-casual fried chicken joint. Putting together incredibly, excellent specialty sandwiches.

Hatch & Coop is the brainchild of Jake’s Sandwich Board, which launched in 2014 when Dorfman discovered the advantages of cooking with poultry.

"At Hatch & Coop, we believe that food can be fast, well crafted, and served at an affordable price. We take a simple approach serving a focused menu that yields extraordinary results. We use ingredients you can trust, from better sources & local farms, including all-natural chicken raised without antibiotics." - From Hatch Coop's Website

Their selection covers breakfast through dinner, beginning with egg specialty sandwiches all day long, with pickle brine juice as well as their signature fried chicken sandwiches, along with a few veggie sides, such as curly fries and deep-fried pickles. Absolutely nothing on the menu is over $8, making them affordable and attractive to the a.m. or p.m. crowd.
