PhillyBite Louie Louie Bistro and BarPhiladelphia, PA - Louie Louie Bistro & Bar is a Father and daughter establishment owned and operated by Marty and Sydney Grims; the pair has converted the 6,000 square-foot space at 3611 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104 to include items influenced by the Art Nouveau period.


A part of Fearless Restaurants, this unique restaurant will open July 11th, situated at the Inn of Penn in the middle of University City. Designer ROHE is known for creating: Harp + Crown, Bud + Marilyns, White Dog Café's Parlor Bar was hired to design the new concept.

Advertised as an American bistro alongside a French flair. The restaurant's menu is, influenced by European cafes and bistros as well as a diversified menu including handmade pastries and sweet treats. Like French-leaning comfort food, caramelized onion tart (black olives with a puff pastry with goat cheese with arugula and onions), the tuna Nicoise tartine (tuna salad, grilled bread, and vegetables), as well as mussels finished in a white wine and garlic stock presented with french fries.

Louie Louie Bistro & Bar seats 160 inside, 15 bar seats, and an extra 30 seats in the lobby as well as 50 additional seats outside on Walnut Street. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner daily and weekend brunch, from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. until 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
