Philadelphia, PAChatayee Thai In The Heart of Midtown Village - Chatayee Thai, the Thai restaurant at the heart of Midtown Village, is currently serving up a brand new lunch menu as well as a happy hour, Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Chatayee Thai provides hard-to-find Thai dishes, created with traditional techniques together with fresh ingredients. Plates may be personalized to the customer's preferred spice level from "mild" to "Thai spicy."

Chatayee Thai In The Heart of Midtown VillageChatayee Thai's brand-new lunch menu features a great combination deal starting from $13 to $15, served up along with the soup of the day and jasmine rice. Select from the spicy Pad Krao Prao, the seafood Pad Kratiem, their vegan Massaman Puk. The happy hour menu also vegetarian as well as vegan-friendly, featuring dishes for just $4. Drink deals consist of $3 select beers, $5 house wines, and $8 signature drinks.

Executive Chef Chatayee Venus Kaputhong, a Bangkok native, is responsible for delivering the traditional flavors of Thailand to Midtown Village. Chef Chatayee began her culinary arts journey growing up in the rich, green garden section of Talingchan, a food-rich region with a myriad of fresh fruits and veggies. Her family has a long legacy of preparing ancient Thai cuisine. Kaputhong plans to bring her culinary journey out of the past, present, and future of Thai dining, along with an authenticity unparalleled.

Around February, Chef Chatayee plans to introduce a weekend brunch selection, followed by the opening of the restaurant's “King’s Terrace” dining balcony. The room will also be open for private events.
