Philadelphia, PA - Restaurant owner Shafi Gaffar (Makhani Modern Indian in Old City) announces the grand opening of Kurry Shack at 2015 E. Moyamensing Avenue this Friday, November 1, 2019. Kurry Shack will take over the former home of The Wild Burrito and Buttercream Cupcake Truck - just feet from the corner of Moyamensing and Snyder Avenue.

Kurry Shack will bring Homestyle North Indian Cuisine to Pennsport - led by Chef Abdur Masud. Look for a fast-casual and colorful vibe in the BYO dining room and from the kitchen look for a broad range of North Indian specialty dishes - with a large selection of gluten, vegetarian, and vegan offerings - plus Indian ice cream and milkshakes.
Starting hours at Kurry Shack will be 11:30 am to 10:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and 11:30 am to 11:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Lunch will run from 11:30am to 3:00pm, and dinner from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. Orders stop fifteen minutes before the kitchen closes.
