Philadelphia, PAJane G’s in Rittenhouse - Jane Guo and her son Jackson Fu have opened Dim Sum House by Jane G’s located at 1930 Chestnut Street. Owned and operated by a family with deep ties to the Philadelphia culinary scene, this mother-son duo, also are the owners of the popular Dim Sum House in University City.

The Rittenhouse restaurant and bar boasts over 4,000 sq ft of dining space, along with seating for 120 in the interior and 20 outside the house.

From the kitchen, customers will take pleasure in a menu that will focus on traditional Chinese dim sum, as well as fried rice, noodles, chef specialties and also standard Chinese favorites based on the Jiang Nan region of China.

Noteworthy favorites consist of Dim Sum House’s Pork Soup Dumplings, Dan Dan Noodles, Roast Pork Bao, Peking Duck, Pork Belly & Mustard Greens, Hot, and Sour Soup, as well as Norwegian Whole King Crab.

In the bar area, you’ll find a full line of spirits, with eight wines by the glass, 35+ wines by the bottle, 12 beers, as well as eight cocktails inspired by old school kung fu movies.



The Rittenhouse eater will also roll-out a seven days a week happy hour later on this winter season. For lunch specials, customers will appreciate the $13 lunch featuring your option of soup, along with a choice of one of 20 entrees served up with a side of rice.
