The Wayward American BrasseriePhiladelphia, PA - Executive Chef Yun Fuentes will head up the kitchen at Philly's newest restaurant, The Wayward American Brasserie. A unique take on French Cuisine base on techniques from the Americana melting pot.

Wayward is located at 1170 Ludlow Street, inside the Stephen Girard building as part of the Market East development, in Midtown Village. Conveniently situated inside the Canopy by Hilton hotel off the lobby area and features an impressive oyster bar and outdoor patio.

The Wayward PhilaelphiaThe Wayward offers guest an American Brasserie fare alongside profound French influences. Form Chef Yun, who worked under Chef Jose Garces at Amada and Tinto, as well as Stephen Starr at Alma de Cuba, along with running the kitchen at DK Sushi for Michael Schulson.

"We named this restaurant The Wayward as a tribute to Girard's spirit, his life at sea, and his legacy as a successful entrepreneur. Much like Girard, we sway toward the unconventional. Our menu is focused on American classics while taking notes from beloved French bistros, and our oyster and gin selections are some of the best in the city" - The Wayward

The Wayward Philly Menu and Vibe

Inside the dining area look for high ceilings, complemented by a blue and light brown color theme, with plenty of inside seating for 90 guests and an additional 30 seats on the outdoor patio.



Chef Yun in the kitchen will offer up his take on French Cuisine. The menu is base on a foundation of flavor, along with techniques from the Americana. All skills that Yun has learned and experienced over the years as a Chef.

The Wayward's raw bar will offer guests fresh oysters, lobster, blue crab, and shrimp, paired with a vast selection of gin cocktails.

Also, check out the full-service bar, serving up a variety of beer, wine, and cocktails, with a focus on the largest gin selection in Philly.

The Wayward Philly Hours and Location

Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 5 pm to 9 pm and open till 10 pm from Friday to Saturday, with a happy hour from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The Canopy by Hilton Hotel is located in the historic Stephen Girard Building, the renovated 19th-century hotel sits in Philadelphia's Midtown Village neighborhood.
