- World of Wings (WOW), based in New Orleans' is heading north to Philadelphia as a start of a major national expansion this summer. Ballard Brands teamed up with Philadelphia restauranteur Jose Garces for a new ghost kitchen operating out of The Olde Bar in the Old City District.
Chef Jose Garces is Opening New Orleans' World of Wings
Philly's wing lovers can now enjoy WOW's menu of fresh wings, tenders, and classic American alongside the brand's signature sauces.
Look for spice rubs made from scratch, along with some inspiration from Iron Chef Jose Garces and his culinary team.
WOW's world-famous signature sauces include ranch dipping sauce, along with signature snacks, including their Vermont White Cheddar Mac and Cheese and loaded Shanghai tater tots.
Over the past few years, WOW has grown to include over 55 brick-and-mortar locations in more than 25 states - The World of Wings brand has fiercely loyal fans of the New Orleans flavor around the county and now heads to Philadelphia as a ghost kitchen concept.
This is Garces's second ghost kitchen to launch out of The Olde Bar, based in Old City, following Garces Trading Company's launch - a giant ghost kitchen, online marketplace, and corporate dining solution that debuted in November of last year.
WOW, Hours will be Wednesday and Thursday, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday to 10:00 pm, Saturday, from 12:00 pm Noon to 10:00 pm, and Sunday, 12:00 Noon to 9:00 pm. Delivery orders can be placed on Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Door Dash, and Caviar.
