Barstool Sports Bar & Restaurant is Coming to Philly

The company announced its plans to open a sports bar in Philadelphia last year.  Penn National CEO Jay Snowden said the new bars would be "unfiltered" and cater to a younger crowd. As of now, the company has two other locations planned. The company will open stand-alone sports bars in Chicago and Philadelphia. Ultimately, the new sports bar will allow people to bet on sports games without having to visit a sportsbook.

The new bar will open in the former Brickwall Tavern location on Sansom Street, which is on the city's northside. The bar will be a sports bar that will offer both betting and entertainment. The Barstool Sports restaurant will eventually feature live streams of sporting events and other events.

The location will have two levels of seating; the first level has a bar with a stage where players can watch live games. The other floor will feature a pool table and a pool. The location already is a popular neighborhood section of town with plenty of pubs and bars, and Barstool Sports Bar is sure to have a number of local and national stars in its patronage.
