Philadelphia, PARiverwards Produce - Riverwards Produce will open its second Philadelphia location in Old City, of their popular market that originated in Fishtown. The new site is double the size of the original Fishtown location. The market will offer customers the same local sourcing of fresh ingredients, specialty products, grab-and-go meals, and new to the Bread Street location, a made-to-order juice bar.

The First Full-Scale Grocery Store to Open in Old City in Over 30 Years

Vincent Finazzo founded Riverwards Produce in 2015 as a wholesale supplier to restaurants in the Philadelphia region. With a commitment to locally sourced produce and top-quality products, Finazzo was approached about opening a pop-up shop by members of the local Fishtown community. After holding successful pop-up shops out of a friend’s garage, Finazzo decided to open a permanent storefront in one of Philadelphia’s first firehouses. Riverwards now has two locations, in Fishtown and Old City, Philadelphia.

They are located at 146 Bread Street, Philadelphia, PA. The historic building has been renovated with particular attention to historical preservation details. In addition to restoring the facade, which is historically certified, the windows, doors, and original color palette have been rehabilitated to their original glory. The market will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
