Philadelphia, PA - A local restaurant group has announced that a popular Louisiana chicken finger chain franchise is planning to open a location in State College, Pa. The proposed location would be the chain's first Pennsylvania location. There are more than 500 Raising Canes locations nationwide.
Raising Canes Chicken Finger Chain Coming to Philadelphia
The first location will open this May at 3925 Walnut St., near the University of Pennsylvania campus. A second location will open at the campus of Temple University in July. The Philadelphia locations are expected to open by the end of this year, and a third will follow in Bucks County in the early fall. The company will also open a location in Trevose near the University of Pennsylvania.
The restaurant chain is expanding quickly across the country, with plans to open 600 locations in 2022. The company has added about 50 locations per year in the past four years and has plans to open another 100 by 2022. The restaurant chain does not offer franchises but instead focuses on the rapid growth of company-affiliated locations.
