P.J. Whelihan'sPhiladelphia, PA - The PJW Restaurant Group is expanding its footprint in the region by opening its 20th location in Hatfield. The newest PJW restaurant in Hatfield will feature a full bar and an outdoor patio. PJW was founded in 1983 by Bob Platzer, who owns Central Taco and Tequila. The company was recently acquired by New York investment firm Garnett Station Partners.


P.J. Whelihan's 20th Location Set to Open in Hatfield

The new Hatfield location will open in the former Marconi Sports Bar and Pizza Pub spot at Hatfield Pointe Shopping Center on Forty Foot Road. The center includes both retail and dining space. The new P.J. Whelihan's restaurant will replace the former Via Marconi's Pizza Pub. The new location will feature more than 30 extra-large televisions and 48 taps, including the original Copper Lager. The restaurant's exterior and interior were designed by Stokes Architecture.
