Sakartvelo is located across the street from Lamberti Pizza, Jones, and the former Las Vegas Lounge.  There are 70 seats on two levels. The restaurant features simple decor and Georgian curios on the shelves. There is also a private dining room for 14 people. There are two mannequins dressed in traditional Caucasus clothing by the front door.

Georgian cuisine is known for khachapuri, cheesy-eggy heaven. It's topped with walnuts, pomegranates, and herbs. UNESCO protects it as an "intangible cultural heritage." It comes in several forms, including adjaruli khachapuri, which is filled with cheese. It also comes in phkhali, which is a vegetable paste.

Sakartvelo also has a to-go case with various Georgian cheeses and appetizers. There are separate counters for plov and kielbasa. The menu also features Georgian drinks. The restaurant offers a variety of pantry items, including fresh-baked loaves of bread and ajika. Its tkemali, or a cold soup, is excellent for cold weather. It also serves a Georgian breakfast. Imeda Londaridze also owns Georgian Bread, which opened in the Far Northeast five years ago.
