Philadelphia, PAPlaya Bowls Opens - America's top superfruit bowl is opening a new Philadelphia spot on Saturday, March 25. This is the 16th Playa Bowls is opening shop in Pennsylvania. It is located in the Northern Liberties area. The new shop is located at 807 N 2nd Street. It will offer free smoothies or bowls and free T-shirts to the first 50 customers who line up by March 25th, 2023. The shop has partnered with local businesses to offer five days of giveaways via its Instagram account. Winners will receive merchandise from participating vendors.

Rich Miller, Director of Operations, and Jim Dale, franchise owners, manage the Northern Liberties shop. The multi-unit owners saw the Northern Liberties shop as an opportunity to expand Playa Bowls' presence and passion in a vibrant and energetic area. There are nine shops currently operating throughout Pennsylvania.

Rich Miller stated that Playa Bowls brings fresh, vibrant options to Philadelphia and that he is thrilled to introduce the superfruit bowl concept in a new neighborhood. "Our multi-unit operators think the Northern Liberties location will make the brand's tasty bowls and smoothies more accessible to Philadelphians, who continue to show a need for healthy, fresh menu items in the area."

Playa Bowls offers a wide range of creative bowls. They also offer the option to create their own. Add toppings like fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, and granola to your bowls. Superfruit bowl shops also offer a variety of juices, smoothies, and cold brews. Playa Bowls are vegan and gluten-free and can be adapted for Whole 30, Keto, and Paleo diets.

Playa Bowls was founded by Rob Giuliani and Abby Taylor, surfers. They wanted to recreate the healthy, delicious, and refreshing versions of acai bowls they enjoyed on their surf trips to Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, and California. The duo found new and innovative ways to enjoy this post-surf treat at each beach and returned wanting more. Playa Bowls was founded in Belmar by the pair who set up a blender on the Belmar boardwalk. Playa Bowls has been offering superfruit bowls for eight years with thousands of employees and hundreds of thousands of bowls. Their mission is to inspire healthy, sustainable living in communities.
