- America's top superfruit bowl is opening a new Philadelphia spot on Saturday, March 25. This is the 16th Playa Bowls is opening shop in Pennsylvania. It is located in the Northern Liberties area. The new shop is located at 807 N 2nd Street. It will offer free smoothies or bowls and free T-shirts to the first 50 customers who line up by March 25th, 2023. The shop has partnered with local businesses to offer five days of giveaways via its Instagram account. Winners will receive merchandise from participating vendors.
Rich Miller, Director of Operations, and Jim Dale, franchise owners, manage the Northern Liberties shop. The multi-unit owners saw the Northern Liberties shop as an opportunity to expand Playa Bowls' presence and passion in a vibrant and energetic area. There are nine shops currently operating throughout Pennsylvania.
Rich Miller stated that Playa Bowls brings fresh, vibrant options to Philadelphia and that he is thrilled to introduce the superfruit bowl concept in a new neighborhood. "Our multi-unit operators think the Northern Liberties location will make the brand's tasty bowls and smoothies more accessible to Philadelphians, who continue to show a need for healthy, fresh menu items in the area."
