Philadelphia, PA - Day by Night in Philadelphia has closed after years of battling to keep the beloved restaurant open. Owner Robin Barg is selling off the last of her catering and restaurant items.
Day by Day in Philadelphia Will Close
Located in the center of Philadelphia at the corner of 21st and Sansom Streets, Day by Days has been around since 1981. In a statement on Facebook, the owner announced that the brunch spot would close. See Statement Below
“Day by Day is closing. To my dear friends, customers, and neighbors, We have had the extraordinary pleasure of serving you for 41 years. We loved being part of your daily lives, your joyous celebrations, as well as some sad times. We have shared so much along the way that I find it hard to express how I feel. Closing the restaurant was not an easy decision; even in the time of pandemic… the sense of community we shared is so special and comforting.” – Robin (Facebook Statement)
The popular brunch spot was known for its breakfast and sandwiches until midafternoon and its popular catering business.
