Philadelphia Brewing Co., one of Philadelphia’s first and largest breweries and makers of brews such as Kenzinger and Walt Wit, invites marathoners to The Peacock Room on Sunday, November 18th for a beer. Runners can replenish their bodies with a pint of ElectroLyte, a full-bodied Pale Ale with a low ABV (3.9% ABV), brewed with apricots, white and pink grapefruit and a touch of Himalayan pink salt and rye malts. This pale ale contains more electrolytes than your average beer, making it the perfect post-race beverage. Jet Wine Bar, Philadelphia’s “global vineyard,” invites Philadelphia Marathon runners, running enthusiasts, and wine lovers to the South St. bar and restaurant for marathon-themed wine flights and fun facts. The flight, comprised of a German Riesling, a Peloponnese red blend and a New Zealand Gamay Noir, will be available for $14 ($12 for Philadelphia Marathon runners) from November 16th through November 20th while supplies last. What do these three wines have in common?
