- Blooms & Bamboo: Chrysanthemum and Ikebana Sogetsu Artistry – This year, Longwood Gardens’ chrysanthemum showcase features two large-scale bamboo and natural element displays by Akane Teshigahara, headmaster of the renowned Sogetsu School of Ikebana headquartered in Japan.
(Ikebana is the centuries-old Japanese art of flower arranging.)
