PHILADELPHIA (July, 1 2016) – Wawa Welcome America’s culminating festival events – Party on the Parkway and July 4th Concert– will feature more live music, free performances and culinary offerings than ever before. The culinary offerings highlight and celebrate the melting pot of America. A variety of Philly-focused food vendors and food trucks will create an amalgamation of taste and flavor from different cultures featuring some of the all-time American favorites and food from Costa Rica, Japan, Jamaica and more!
On Monday, July 4th, Welcome America Inc., in partnership with Live Nation and Aramark, will present two Beer Garden locations on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, plus beer and wine offerings inside the Eakins Oval Meet Your Neighbors area. Beer Gardens and food offerings will be available 11am – 9pm. ATMs will be located in each beer garden and throughout the site on the Parkway for ease of use.
The two main beer garden locations will be located on either side of the Parkway at 22nd Street.
· Circa ’76 Beer Garden will be located on 22nd Street between the Parkway & Pennsylvania Avenue.
· Flying Key Beer Garden will be located just north of 22nd Street between Park Towne Place & the Parkway.
With more than 25 Philly-focused food vendors and food trucks, festival attendees from near and far will enjoy a diverse, and eclectic mix of culinary delights throughout the Parkway footprint on the 4th.
