As entrepreneurs, Frédérique Irwin and Kimberly Berger help women break through barriers that keep them from achieving their maximum potential in business.

Her Corner has arrived here in Philadelphia, launching the company's first offshoot from its Washington D.C. base. By using education in a peer group setting, Her Corner brings its power of collective intelligence to Philly and its suburbs.

Past participants in the Accelerator Series have seen an average of 46-percent growth in their revenue within one year of completing the program, says Kimberly Berger, President and COO of Her Corner. Her Corner's Accelerator Series began on Sept. 15 at Benjamin's Desk in Philadelphia.

"Philadelphia was the obvious choice for us because of its reputation for being a great city for women to grow a business. Plus, Kimberly went to Wharton and has roots here," says Irwin, Founder and CEO of Her Corner.

Women business owners and the media are invited to meet Irwin and Berger at morning coffee and networking events in Center City Philadelphia and in Wayne, Pa. The events are free but registration is required at www.HerCorner.org/philadelphia.

The Philadelphia business community has welcomed Irwin and Berger, who were speakers at high-profile local programs. Irwin was the keynote speaker at a NAWBO Philadelphia event in June, while Berger was panelist at the Stimulus #Connect2Resources in May.

"There are more than 11 million women-owned businesses in the U.S. generating nearly $2 trillion in revenues, as of 2016. We want women to know they have a resource in Her Corner, to help them with whatever it takes to grow their business," Irwin says.

Berger adds, "We are so grateful for the enthusiasm and creativity of the women we work with. They prove that it doesn't matter your age, industry or where you live – women can truly do anything in business. And we love being part of their growth stories."

The training, connections and the support offered by Her Corner is the boardroom from which each member can draw as she grows her business. That's the power of collective intelligence. https://hercorner.org/philadelphia/
