Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Commissioner Kathryn Ott Lovell, Councilman Curtis Jones Jr., and State Representative Morgan Cephas will join community members to host a dedication ceremony for the new boxing gym at Shepard Recreation Center. The gym features a new boxing ring with other equipment to be installed including speed bags, heavy bags and medicine balls. City officials will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony with local community members to celebrate the new boxing ring at Shepard recreation cente, at the Shepard Recreation Center Boxing Ring, 5700 Haverford Avenue
