Philadelphia, PAPhillyBite Burger Brawl - Originally the 8th annual Philadelphia Burger Brawl was set to happen on June 3rd at the Xfinity Live! Philadelphia center. However, due to excessively high winds, a decision was made for everyone’s safety to delay the event

The Philadelphia Burger Brawl competition is postponed until June 10th, which means that anyone who wanted to go but forgot to purchase tickets will still have the opportunity to attend.  Additionally, tickets that were already purchased will be honored for the event’s new date. And for anyone who is unable to attend the Burger Brawl on it’s new date, you can go to //This email address is being protected from spambots. Unfortunately, Chase Rice will not be able to attend the event next weekend. However, there will be great local acts to entertain the crowds during the competition, and of course all those lovely burgers to taste while enjoying the local acts.  For more information of tickets, you can visit www.phillyburgerbrawl.com.

If you are able to attend, you will be helping out a great cause too. The Philadelphia Burger Brawl was created by Maggie and Rob Wasserman as a culinary competition in 2011 to help raise funds for a new computer lab in their children’s school.  Due to it’s success, it has now grown into a large annual event and supports under-funded schools within the Philadelphia district with technology-based programs.

Subsequently, the Philadelphia Burger Brawl partnered with The Fund for the Philadelphia School District (“The Fund”). Since its inception The Burger Brawl team has invested more than $200,000 in technology-based learning programs.

If you would like to come out to support a great cause while enjoying the wonderful acts on stage and indulge in as many of the burgers (and tacos) you can, the show-down of local Chef’s and restaurants will happen on June 10th, starting at 1pm for VIP ticket holders, and 2pm for General Admission tickets.

If you drive in, plan to come early to help avoid any traffic, as there will be a few other events occurring during the same time.  Or you can take you can take public transportation to the Xfinity Live! Philadelphia center in order to enjoy all the burger-licious competition.
