Philadelphia, PASnow Tuesday and Wednesday May Inpact Philadelphia Region - Time to take out your cold weather gear and get ready for some midday snow and rain as well as sub-freezing conditions.The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ has released a hazardous weather warning in and around the Philadelphia region for Tuesday mid-day all the way through Sunday. At the moment forecasts for accumulated snow, rain and slippery roads all through the week loom over the predictions.


 Starting with snow then rain on Tuesday mid-day before more snow yet again around 9 p.m., leaving behind an inch or two in accumulation. The National Weather Service is cautioning motorists of icy road conditions well into Wednesday morning hours, in addition to another half inch of accumulated snow just before 8 a.m.

Look out for a duration of intense, gusty snow squalls may be likely for Wednesday afternoon due to an arctic cold front moving through the region. Thursday morning hours ought to be clear although frigid with a high close to 16 degrees and sunny.
