Philadelphia, PAThe Philadelphia Eagles - The Philadelphia Eagles not only snapped a vicious 4-game losing streak, but they also may have found their quarterback of the future. Rookie, Jalen Hurts, started his first career game against a vaunted New Orleans Saints defense and did about as well as you could hope for. His incredible speed flashed early and often. He managed to avoid the costly turnovers that plagued Carson Wentz through 14 starts this season.

Philadelphia Eagles NFL Week 15

The Eagles were certainly helped out by a Saints team that was groggy out of the gates, as well as an overall sloppy game by Saints quarterback, Taysom Hill. This still can’t take away from a complete team performance that Philly has been dearly missing - minus kicker Jake Elliot, who whiffed on two short field goals during the day that could’ve cost the team dearly.

Unbelievably, the Eagles still do have an outside shot at winning the NFC East. They benefit from playing both the Cowboys and Washington in their last two games, meaning they can win those games and get a big head-to-head advantage over their rivals. This week, though, they have to face the Arizona Cardinals, who are coming off a week where they did the Eagles a favor by flattening the New York Giants.

Jalen Hurts Takes on The Arizona Cardinals

Arizona is in a position to secure an NFC Wild Card spot thanks to their electric young quarterback Kyler Murray. Murray is one of few quarterbacks in the league that can rival Hurts’ speed, and it will be fun to see which defense can contain the dual-threat quarterbacks the best. I like the Philly defense over the Cardinals defense, but the one big question is who can cover receiver DeAndre Hopkins? Nobody in single coverage. Look for double or triple coverage all day long to try and defend against their big-play threat.

I think the Eagles are going to get hot at the right time with Jalen Hurts leading the way, and it starts here. This will be a very tight game, but the Eagles will get it done by the skin of their teeth.

Final Score: Eagles, 27. Cardinals. 24.
