Dietz & Watson - Home. Home is at the table. Sharing a meal with family and friends was a fundamental way to bond and feel included in each other’s lives. Those close to you could find out so much just by asking how your day went. Listening and caring about events in your loved ones lives was something we did and it made a difference in a positive way. If I were to ask you what were the best memories you’ve had of the people you care about, I’m sure they happened around a table and good food.Dietz & Watson - Home. Home is at the table. Chef Nicolas Elmi enthralled us with Meal for the ages made with the accompaniment of some of Dietz & Watsons quality foods. Let’s start it off with a grilled butter green topped with pistachio, cured egg and crumbled wurst that was both inspiring and refreshing. After that great start was Gnocchi bathed in fresh ricotta with green garlic, herbs and sopressata. I loved the richness of this dish and how bright the flavors emerged thru it. The truffle potato bisque paired perfectly with Sottocenere Panini and rosemary ham. It’s comes as no surprise This man won the Top Chef competition with creations like these.

Adding a hearty end to this magical meal was a Kielbasa – wrapped Pork with braised Kale and bacon topped with a flake mustard chip that was a spicy high note finish on a great dish. How could you put Horseradish on a dessert and get away with it? He did just that and we are all the better for it. Topping this Green apple Espuma and Yuza curd was this light foamy horseradish whip that was spot onin awaking the palette gods.

So, what does it meant to #ChooseTheTable? It’s an effort to reclaim a few extra moments of quality time. It’s a belief that mealtime is more meaningful when shared with the people you love. And it’s a commitment to make smart decisions about the food we share when we all come together.
