Philadelphia, PAA Very Philly Christmas in Fairmount Park - The Historic Houses of Fairmount Park are a few of the most well-preserved examples of 18th to 19th-century original early American architecture, situated in beautiful Fairmont Park,.simply "drop-in" this December and get away from the downtown crowds to witness “A Very Philly Christmas” and discover fascinating facts about each historic house at your own pace.

A Very Philly Christmas in Fairmount ParkPartaking historical houses including Cedar Grove House, Laurel Hill Mansion, Lemon Hill Mansion, Historic Strawberry Mansion, and Woodford Mansion. Each home located inside of East and West Fairmount Park is decked out for the holidays. Check out the Holiday In The Park website at www.holidaysinthepark.com/your-visit and browse the interactive Google map to get directions to each house on tour. Parking is free at each home. A house to house transport is also available for a small fee by way of the Holiday Houses Loop operated by PHLASH


Explore the Historic Houses of Fairmount Park during December for a thirty days of decorations and 4 days of delight called A Very Philly Christmas. “Christmas in Fairmount Park” commemorates its 47th year of delighting visitors together with decked halls at 5 of the park’s cherished historic houses.Growing on this tradition, Fairmount Park Conservancy and its associates will present “A Very Philly Christmas” – four unique days exhibiting what makes Philadelphia a really special place: music, food, neighbors, and families:

    •Sounds of the Season: offering top local musicians, 12/1
    •Family Day at Lemon Hill: and this includes picture-perfect visits together with Santa and a cheese sculpture of the Philadelphia Flyers’ Gritty mascot providing kid-friendly activities, 12/2
    •Neighbors’ Day: featuring community talent, 12/8
    •Flavors of the Season: spreading culinary treats, 12/9


Entry is only $8 per person per house. Kids 12 and under are free. Merely present your ticket or pass at any one of the five participating homes mentioned above for admission.
