Philadelphia, PA - Philadelphia's premier custom menswear boutique, Henry A. Davidsen, is excited to announce the return of Suits & Sazeracs, a charitable cocktail competition raising funds for The Wardrobe, a local non-profit empowering individuals through professional attire.
Sazeracs, Jazz, and Giving Back
This New Orleans-inspired evening promises an unforgettable experience. Guests will be treated to expertly crafted Sazeracs by Philadelphia's top bartenders, all featuring Bluebird Distilling's Straight Rye Whiskey. While indulging in these creative cocktails, attendees will enjoy delectable bites prepared by Square 1682's Executive Chef Patrick Czerniak, with live NOLA-style jazz setting the mood.
The evening goes beyond delicious food and drinks. There will be a silent auction, a live presentation of a sizable check to The Wardrobe, and even a "Best Dressed Guest Award" for those who embrace the glitzy New Orleans theme.
Charitable Impact
Suits & Sazeracs aims to raise over $10,000 for The Wardrobe, alongside collecting over 10,000 gently-used professional attire donations. This fundraising effort coincides with Henry A. Davidsen's 6th annual Suit Drive, accepting donations from April 8th to May 10th across the Greater Philadelphia Area.
The Competitors
The competition is fierce, with Philadelphia's top bartenders vying for the coveted titles:
- Superior Sazerac: A panel of industry experts, including spirits and travel writer Brian Freedman, will award $1,000 to the bartender crafting the best Sazerac.
- People's Choice: Attendees will vote for their favorite Sazerac, with the winner receiving $500. Additionally, attendees can purchase extra votes, with all proceeds benefiting The Wardrobe.

For those who don't imbibe in spirits, Suits & Sazeracs offers a selection of zero-proof beverages from Fever-Tree and a unique low-ABV beer, "Leave Your Tie At The Door," brewed by My Local Brew Works.

Tickets for Suits & Sazeracs are available online now. In the lead-up to the event, participating bars and restaurants will offer specialty Sazeracs with a portion of proceeds donated to The Wardrobe.
