“Knowing that a lot of things are canceled this year, it was important for us to work with Destination Gettysburg to make the fireworks happen. It’s a highlight of summertime for so many people. We are going to do it the safest way possible, allowing for social distancing. We recommend that if people can stay home and watch the fireworks, to please do so,” said Erin Peddigree, Executive Director of GARA.

Gates will open at 7 pm, and spectators are encouraged to bring along a lawn chair or blanket. Onsite parking will be available for $2 per car. The proceeds will be donated to the Rotary Club of Gettysburg. No alcohol or smoking permitted on recreation park grounds.
