Tony Joe's Philadelphia, PA - If you're going to try and pull off the very risky cheesesteak for a romantic dinner, then you better do it at Tony Joe's House of Great Eats.

Tony Joe's Cheesesteaks

I had to make up a new word to describe Tony Joe's, Funakadelicious. Tony Joe's is located in a house built in the early 1800s.

The building has been renovated and funkafide. The first thing to greet you is the Stickman Brews sign, which sets the mood for dinner.

When you first step inside, you are in a cool, little, dark wood bar, and the funk starts when you enter into the dining room. Purple walls greet you in the dining room.

The super funky tables have been temporarily replaced with COVID regulation correct, purple table clothed, tables. COVID didn't affect the funky cool wall decorations, and the pinball top in the fireplace creates a warm romantic environment.

If your date is not buying into the romantic cheesesteak dinner as seen in the video by Carole. You are going to get a great cheesesteak.

Tony Joe's covers a broad spectrum of tastes with about five cheesesteaks on the menu. We were having a simulated romantic Valentine's day double date and ordered three different cheesesteaks.

We ordered two Cheesesteak hoagies, a Philly Special, and the Catpack. The Philly special came with American cheese, housemade red sauce, fried onions, mushrooms, and sweet peppers.

The Catpack came with American cheese, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, mayo, ranch, and honey mustard.

All of our cheesesteaks were packed with meat. Patti and I were not ashamed to eat some of the excess meat off our cheesesteaks with our forks.

The rolls were almost Bakery like and delicious. We all thought the sauces were excellent, and each of us had two different beers and enjoyed them all. So, a romantic date or Valentine's Day dinner early, you're in good hands at Tony Joe's.
