Fearless Restaurants to host Cocktails for a Cause March 28

White Dog Cafe locations in University City, Wayne, Haverford, and Glen Mills along with Rosalie Wayne, Autograph Brasserie in Wayne, Louie Louie in University City, and the historic Moshulu on Penns Landing will all offer a Kyiv Mule made with locally produced Boardroom Vodka as well as Pinot for Peace from Penns Wood Winery in Chadds Ford, with proceeds benefiting organizations that assist the Ukrainian people. Monies raised will go to GlobalGiving.org and Flexport.org.

The event is personal for White Dog Cafe Haverford Bartender Sam Whitaker, who made a very organic connection with a young Ukrainian mom about a week before the Russian invasion. Sam, who is very involved in charitable causes, is launching a digital currency that raises money for charity through its transactions.

He was looking for a website designer on UpWork, where he met and hired Vika, a web designer in Ukraine. Since the war broke out, Sam has had constant contact with Vika via social media even though she and her five-year-old daughter Sasha are moving throughout the country trying to stay safe. Both her husband and her uncle are fighting on the front lines.

Led by restaurateur Marty Grims and his daughter Sydney Grims, Fearless Restaurants creates neighborhood favorites that become a destination for dining. Innovative and inspired seasonal menus feature the finest and freshest ingredients.

White Dog Cafe Chester Springs is opening in early 2023.
