Philadelphia, PA - Two new bagel shops will open in Philadelphia by the end of 2022. With Kismet Bagels opening a second shop in Rittenhouse Square and The Grand opening of Bagels and Co. in Fishtown on November 19th, 2022.
Kismet Bagels Is Opening Second Shop In Rittenhouse
Kismet Bagels opened its first brick & mortar location in Fishtown in April of this year. Now, husband-and-wife owners Jacob and Alexandra Cohen are expanding their footprint in Philadelphia. With their bialy stall already in the works at the Reading Terminal Market, eyeing a December opening, the entrepreneurs are also preparing to open their second brick & mortar – this one located at 1700 Sansom Street in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse neighborhood. The Cohens are eyeing an early December opening.
The 600-square-foot space (formerly housed Sip-N-Glo Juicery and, more recently, Greens and Grains) will function exactly like the Fishtown location, operating as a takeout-only shop. The shop will be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., or sellout.
Bagels and Co Grand Opens in Fishtown
Bagels and Co. are about to take over Philadelphia with a citywide expansion that will see six new bagel and coffee shops expand to six recent locations. The first new location is now ready! Bagels and Co. Fishtown will grand open this Friday, November 18th, with a free bagel and cream cheese giveaway between 8:00 am to 10:00 am, and no purchase is necessary. On Saturday, November 19th, the grand opening continues with free coffee from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
