The Sunflower Truck Stop is an exciting new expansion of the already popular brick-and-mortar restaurant, Shorty's Sunflower Cafe.
For years, customers at the Cafe would say to me, "you should open another location here, or here, or there (name your spot)". Now we are expanding into any and all of "those" spots. The freedom of being on 4-wheels grants the ability to go anywhere. To me, that translates into the freedom to do so many new and exciting things.
One of the most exciting benefits of taking our show on the road is that we get to set up next to some great local growers at many of the farmers' markets. We have developed relationships and are now sourcing from many of the vendors on a weekly basis.The menu changes up from week to week and event to event. It always includes delicious, fresh, creative selections made from many ingredients sourced directly from the other vendors at the Market.
