So, what is the best way to order your whisky? it's no secret that its best served “neat“ in a snifter around room temperature or straight up (without ice). A snifter is a type of glass that has a tulip-like shape meant to enhance the whisky's aroma and natural flavors. Strangely enough even the heat from your hands will help to bring out some more flavors in whiskey.
In 2011 the founders of Wolfburn Single Malt Whisky travelled to Thurso in Caithness, the most northerly town on the British mainland, in search of the old Wolfburn distillery. After 150 years of neglect, what they found of what was once one of the largest whisky producers in the county was a pile of old stones.
