The Philadelphia Urban Adventures team is a knowledgeable and energetic group, dedicated to making sure that our urban travelers get the most out of their Philly experience. Many of our guides have been tour guides in the City for many years, and have a wealth of experience taking travelers through the inspiring Historic District, along the sparkling Avenue of the Arts, around the grandeur of City Hall, into the museums, and through the fascinating neighborhoods and markets, such as those in South Philly.
After having provided a driving tour service in and around the Philadelphia area, the owner, Andy, was drawn to the Urban Adventures philosophy of sustainable tourism, support of local businesses and the desire to provide travelers with a unique and authentic experience. This combined with the ability to be part of a worldwide initiative and a network of tour businesses in international cities, drew Andy and his team into the fold.
All of our Philadelphia tours seek to give the traveler a fresh insight into the city, its residents and its attractions, and we have achieved this by developing a tour guide team that mixes experienced guides with others who are new to the profession, but who live and breathe the city and share a passion for its history, public art, food and entertainment.
