Billy Joel Returns to Citizens Bank Park

The Phillies will also have an exclusive kiosk set up to provide Billy Joel tour merchandise available for purchase throughout all home games in May. In celebration of this news, the Phillies will be presenting a key to Citizens Bank Park to Billy Joel to commemorate the special event.

Billy Joel, who is going to celebrate his 70th birthday on May 9, 2019, is the very first performer to perform for a record-breaking six straight years in a row at the Phillies Ballpark and he contains the record for the most live shows by any performer in the venue's 15-year history.

"Billy Joel's previous performances at Citizens Bank Park have been exemplary which is why his fans in Philadelphia come back year after year," said Phillies Executive Vice President David Buck. American Express cardmembers are going to have first access to presale seats for the May 24th show from Monday, January 7th at 10:00 AM (EST) through Thursday, January 10th at 10:00 PM (EST). Presale ticket access will also be obtainable for the May performance through Ticketmaster Verified Fan. Verified Fan registration opens on Thursday, January 3rd at 12:00 PM (EST) and continues until Sunday, January 6th at 12:00 AM (EST).
