Philadelphia, PAPhiladelphia Jazz Appreciation Month -The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE) will lead the city in the 9th annual observance of Jazz Appreciation Month along with Philly Celebrates Jazz, a celebration of Philly's deep jazz tradition and community.


Philadelphia Jazz Appreciation Month

“Philly Celebrates Jazz” includes a little more than 200 jazz-related activities throughout the city with more than 75 events totally free to the general public. There will be at least three functions taking place every single day throughout the month of April.

Art in City Hall will also commemorate “Jazz Appreciation Month” along with two exhibits this April. The Philly Celebrates Jazz Listening Lounge is going to completely transform the Art Gallery at City Hall into a listening lounge where guests can encounter Philly's jazz scene as well as explore past Jazz Appreciation.
