Philadelphia, PA - SNACKTIME, Philadelphia’s much-loved brass-heavy band rocking funk, punk, jazz, pop, and R&B influences and Best of Philly® 2022 Best Band winner, is thrilled to announce its first-ever formal record signing event at popular vinyl record store Latchkey on Saturday, December 17 from 12 pm - 2 pm.
SNACKTIME's Record Signing Debut at Latchkey on East Passyunk Avenue
Just in time for the holidays, fans of Philly’s favorite band and gift-givers alike can swing by the signing for a meet-and-greet with band members and pick up an exclusive, signed copy of debut album Sounds From The Street: Live! (2nd Pressing), each record is differentiating slightly in design, but all are adorning a fun and vibrant green and pink splatter.
“The response from the album release this past summer has been mind-blowing,” said Ben Stocker, Co-Founder of SNACKTIME. “We’re excited to have our record signing at Latchkey on East Passyunk Avenue, as we had some of our first gigs as a band just a couple of blocks away. It will be a blast to say hello to new and returning faces.”
Founded in the depths of the pandemic, SNACKTIME is the brainchild of an ever-evolving composite of diverse and extended musicians based in Philadelphia and beyond, including Sam Gellerstein and Ben Stocker. The two college-turned-band mates started playing at various public spaces around Philly, including The Singing Fountain on East Passyunk Avenue, before hitting bustling Rittenhouse Square – where they quickly garnered attention and an ever-growing fan base from folk who appreciate the fun, free-spirited and positive vibes that derive from the music. The roster has since grown to include more than 30 local, talented musicians who play many instruments that embody the big band essence of SNACKTIME.
